Export & follow-up
Last updated: July 2026
A finished meeting usually wants passing on — as a note, as a message to the team, or as tracked working time. For that, three buttons sit above the summary: “Copy”, “Follow-up” and “Export”.
Copy & export
“Copy” puts the summary on the clipboard as Markdown — ideal for pasting into notes or a document. “Export” saves the meeting as a Markdown file.
Follow-up to team & clients
“Follow-up” turns the meeting’s decisions and tasks into a ready-made message: draft an email from it, or copy text formatted for Slack. That way you send a clean follow-up in seconds, without typing it yourself.
Background: how to share meeting summaries securely.
Handing off to Døgn
The “Send finished meetings to Døgn” toggle (under “Settings”) hands every completed meeting to Døgn, the kveik suite’s companion time tracker — so the call becomes tracked, billable time without retyping a thing. The handoff happens locally; neither the transcript nor the audio leaves folo. Once time is tracked, “Open in Døgn time entry” takes you straight there.
Recaps for tjent
If you enable “Meeting recaps (tjent)”, folo writes the recaps as Markdown files into the shared App Group container — so the invoicing app tjent can attach them to invoices. This, too, stays local on your Mac.
