Settings at a glance

Settings are organized into several tabs. Here is a compact overview of where everything lives.

The tabs

  • “General”. Default template, meeting and output language, transcription engine and your own templates. See Transcript & speakers.
  • “Summary”. AI backend (local vs. cloud), Anthropic API key, Ollama model. See Summaries & templates.
  • “MCP”. The local suite integration for tools like Claude; it reads graph data and can invoke registered suite actions. See Privacy & on-device.
  • “Webhooks”. Notifications to external services. See Webhooks.
  • “Privacy”. Audio deletion, per-speaker audio clips, the Døgn handoff and tjent recaps.
  • “Permissions”. Status of microphone and audio-capture access.
  • “License”. Activate a license key, trial period.
  • “Credits”. The open-source components in use.

Trial & license

folo can be tried free for 14 days. After that, unlock the app under “Settings → License” with your license key — a one-time purchase, free updates included. Features like Ask AI require an active license.
